Volunteer Opportunity: Infant/Toddler Helper

Ø Job Description: On Sundays and Wednesdays, infants and toddlers are introduced to God’s love through caring staff and stimulating stories and songs. Infant/Toddler Helpers are responsible to (1) help receive children and families into the classroom, (2) interact with and comfort infants & toddlers, (3) help release children to parents in a personable manner and (4) help straighten classrooms after class.

Ø Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a nurturing nature and a love for infants and toddlers. No experience is necessary though familiarity with infant/toddler behavior and stages of growth will benefit both the class and the volunteer.

Ø Spiritual Gifts: service, giving, pastoring.

Ø Time Requirement: Sundays or Wednesdays, 2 hours/week on a rotating or permanent basis.

Ø Other Requirements: Attendance at periodic training opportunities throughout the year. Background check.
